-4/3 +5 and -4/3 - 5 show me steps!

Erm to simplify -4/3+5, and I'm going to do the way it remains a fraction, you would need to put 5 over three: -4/3+15/3. Add those to get 11/3. To simplify -4/3-5 you would do the same but subtract 15/3 to get -19/3. If this is not what you're asking, please explain your question more! :P
