The height h of an object is thrown upwards from an initial height h0 with an initial velocity v0 is given by: h =-16t^2 + vo +h0. The floor of the Golden Gate Bridge is 220 feet above the water. If a rock is thrown upwards from the floor of the bridge with an initial velocity of 30 feet/sec, how long will it take for the rock to hit the water? (Round to the nearest tenth.) I run into a problem where none of my answer make sense and I've been writing all the work out.

Plug your numbers in and solve... 0=-16t^2+30+220

Oh jeez, I just realized my mistake. *eyeroll* I switched something up and just didn't see it. Thank you.
