you must have another equation to solve it. For Example: you have 5x+2y=10, if you had another equation, like x+y=3 then life would just be nifty and you could solf the problem, but alas, this is not the case. Therefore since there is no other equation given, you can continue to stare at your paper all you want, but you will get no where. *From personal experiance* -Algebra hater, along with geometry and all other maths
