What is a slope intercept and how do you solve it

hero (hero):

The slope intercept form of a line is y = mx + b

Thanks

hero (hero):

In order to solve it, you need to know the values of at least three of the four variables.

hero (hero):

If you're given a point and the slope, you'll have to solve for b, the y-intercept. If you're given a point and the y-intercept, you'll have to solve for m, the slope.
