I'm thinking this.... do i find the square root of 12 and thats my answer??

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so i get this? 3.464101615 ?? so my answer is 3.464 since i need to round to the nearest thousandth? is that right?? :)

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[r^2=12\]\[r=\sqrt{12}\]\[=\sqrt{3\times2^2}\]\[=2\sqrt 3\]\[\approx2\times1.732\]\[=3.464\color{red}\checkmark\]
