OpenStudy (anonymous):

which of the following is an equation of a line with a slope of -2 that passes through the piont (-4, 3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since you have a slope of the line you want and a point it passes through, you can use the point-slope form to get the equation. since your post said "which...", i'm assuming there are choices.... we don't need them. are those choices given in point-slope form or slope-intercept form?

OpenStudy (shamim):

i think u know the equation\[y-y _{1}=m(x-x _{1})\]

OpenStudy (shamim):

here m= slope

OpenStudy (shamim):

\[x _{1},y _{1}\] are ur given point
