Find m1 and m3 in the kite. The diagram is not drawn to scale

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

m1 = 39 degrees and you'll find measure of 3 by using fact that 3 angles in triangle add up to 180

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

what is m2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know I don't really get it

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

the measure of angle 2

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

what is the value of the angles formed by intersection of AC and DB? in a kite these are always ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh ok I gotcha

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

yw

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what exactly is the answer explained?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

..what's the answer? and how did you get it?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

because the diagonals of a kite intersect at right angles angle 2 = 90 degress and angle next to it = 90 degrees so because of the property 3 angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees angle 3 = 180 - (39 + 90) = 180 - 129 = 51 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh. okay. thank you!
