Solve either equation for the x or y variable. You chose which one you want to solve for. xy=40 2x-y=-2
I want the solution set... there are 2 sets of numbers... I did it and I came up with (-8,-5),(4,10)..Can you please solve and tell me if I am wrong!! :)
There are 2 solutions sets, but they are imaginary.
Wait my bad. you are correct.
except it's not (-8, -5) but (-5, -8)
