what are the ordered pairs for 9x + -5y = 60

OpenStudy (zehanz):

These "ordered pairs" really are the x and y values that make the equation true. Now there are an infinite number of these pairs, so I'm not sure what you are supposed to do. To find an ordered pair, you just pick any number for x or y and substitute it in the equation. Then solve for the other one. I.e.: x = 0 gives -5y = 60, so y = -12. Ordered pair: (0, -12).
