OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

Which statement describes the relationship between the deer and the bear on the food web? see picture

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

OpenStudy (aripotta):

they both get energy from plants?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

but that's not really a relationship :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They are all get their energy from the plants as AriPotta said

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

The choices: Autotrophs supply food for the heterotrophs. Heterotrophs compete for the same food source. Autotrophs and heterotrophs share the same food source. Heterotrophs supply food for the autotrophs.

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

:p

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

are they both heterotrophs?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

a

OpenStudy (aripotta):

i think :l

OpenStudy (anonymous):

go with AriPotta

OpenStudy (aripotta):

they aren't competing for the plants, i don't think

OpenStudy (aripotta):

plants are everywhere, right?

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

Now then: What problems would you expect to observe in an ecosystem without primary consumers?

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

thanks btw

OpenStudy (aripotta):

it's either a or b

OpenStudy (aripotta):

if no one's eating the plants, then they're all eating each other. there would be no more animals lol

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

Well, there are the secondary consumers and tertiary consumers too.

OpenStudy (aripotta):

but they'd all be eating other animals. they'll run out of animals eventually

OpenStudy (aripotta):

right?

OpenStudy (aripotta):

it's been awhile since i learned this :/

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

Secondary eats tertiary eats primary producers

OpenStudy (aripotta):

i thought tertiary eats secondary :/ idunno. i can't help lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

Well, I got the answer. Now, Why are decomposers important to energy transfer within an ecosystem?

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

I think it's because they break down nutrients for re-use, but I'm not sure.

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

Am I right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Decomposers are important because they are breaking down material that has already been consumed and recycling it to the best of their ability back into the ecosystem.

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your welcome!

OpenStudy (aripotta):

it's so cute!

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

Wanna try it? :3

OpenStudy (aripotta):

do i have to download it again? :/

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

yeah :/

OpenStudy (aripotta):

i'll download it once you've made more changes. then i'll try it out and give ye some feedback

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

kk :p

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

niccee

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

:3 Also Ari, I fixed the cursor on the panel. It made anything up there go to the hand cursor, even when it's not on a button -.-

OpenStudy (aripotta):

yea, i noticed that too

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

that was just kinda annoying me ._.

OpenStudy (aripotta):

lol good thing you fixed it then :) i was just dealing with it

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

@karatechopper when will you be able to try it out?

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

Never haha

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):
