what is the equation of a horizontal line that passes through (0,5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Equation for... Vertical lines: x = (x-coordinate) Horizontal lines: y = (y-coordinate)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If a line is horizontal, it doesn't go up or down, it always has the same value of y. And the value of x is not listed in the equation because it doesn't matter, since it goes to infinity it will have every value of x. The equation will just show the value of y. y=? what is the value of y if it goes through (0,5)?
