Solving trig equations - i know the first few steps, but i'm not sure about the answer: 2sin^2(2x)=1 (2x)=y 2sin^2(y)=1 sin^2(y)=(1/2) sin(y)=+/- (sqrt 2)/2 (pi/4 , 5pi/6 , 5pi/4 , 7pi/4) The question is: is this my final answer or do I have to set my answer equal to 2x?
