The current in the wire is given by the equation I = 2.5 - 0.6t, with positive to the right as shown. Which of the statements concerning the current induced in the loop is correct? a. There is no induced current. b. The current is clockwise always. c. The direction of current depends on the value of r. d. The current is first clockwise then counterclockwise. e. The direction of current depends on the value of A.

OpenStudy (binary3i):

D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why?

OpenStudy (binary3i):

do you know right hand rule? that will give you the magnetic field's direction in the loop. but after some time the direction of current changes which will change the direction of magnetic field, there fore the current in the loop will also change its direction.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the current decreases then becomes negative so the direction of current changes right?

OpenStudy (binary3i):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (binary3i):

you'r welcome
