These are supplementary angles, as such the sum of their values will equal 180.

\[(2x + 7) + (6x - 9) = 180\]
\[8x - 2 = 180\]
\[8x = 182\]
\[x = 22.75\]

The larger of the two angles (assuming the picture is correct) is (6x - 9)
Inserting the value of x we obtained we obtain

\[6(22.75) - 9 = 127.5\]
