SQL Injection. Why is MySQL(4.00) less vulnerable then MySQL(5.00)+?
Why would it be so?
"All MariaDB and MySQL versions up to 5.1.61, 5.2.11, 5.3.5, 5.5.22 are vulnerable."
Then I wonderinstead, where did you get that information from? Since you believe that they are vulnerable, you should have received the information from any source...
It was a debate in the class room. I just said everything has vulnerabilities nothing can be perfect. Then the quote I said above was brought up, I'm confused as to why it was said.
Well, I have no idea why it came up at your debate. But logically, why would mysql update without bring the positive aspects from its previous version? The only reason they are updating is to improve and to close all security vulnerabilities...
I thought the same. So I wen to ask my teacher. It seem that more vulnerability are available for MySQL 5 because its the most used version. But technically there the same in vulnerabilities. Thanks.
It makes sense :) Do not forget to give me credits ;)
