Can someone explain to me how to find the incenter of a triangle? im soooo confused on how to do that..:(
Are you using a compass?
ummm do u need a compass?
That's the easiest way. An Incenter is where a triangle’s three angle bisectors intersect (an angle bisector is a ray that cuts an angle in half). So, you'll need to draw a ray for each angle that cuts it in half. Where these all intersect is the incenter.
does that help
how do you find the angle bisector?
ive done tha b 4 hold on
it would if i was trying to find the circumcircle..:) but im not...
i dont think...?
Its a ray that cuts the angle in half. So if you have a 90 degree angle, the bisector is a ray at 45 degrees.
oooh!! ok then what do you do next?
You draw a ray for all 3 angle bisectors. The point that all 3 cross is the incenter.
oooh!! ok that makes sense:) thank you soooo much!!
seee if its ur question
No problem. :] do you need to find the coordinates?
urrrmmm..i dont think sooo...i just needed to find a point where its the same distant from all the corners..
Then you should be fine :]
yey! thanks again:)
