Hey, ok, here is what happened.

so..... The US vs... The Mexicans So Texas--------------> Mexican territory, used to be Northern Mexico. Then the Mexicans let the settlers from the US come in and stay there. So yeah, the settlers were somewhat greedy. Then Texas-------------------> wanted to be part of the US, the US refused many times, so Texas was the Lone Star state for a while.
