Can someone explain to me how to figure out the correlation coefficient?

whats your idea about it, im thinking its a value that tells you how accurate a regression model is; but id have to google to be sure

well this question. there are 3 parts. a,b,and c.. and it gives me a chart with X and Y like this. |dw:1354744320658:dw| part a is to match the graph the part b is to find the correlation Coefficient and part c is to Comment on type of relation that appears to exist between x and y.
