I don't know if I'm correct but, Wikipedia says that "the Brønsted-Lowry definition is an expansion: an acid is a substance which can act as a proton donor." Also, the same link says that "by the Brønsted-Lowry definition, any compound which can easily be deprotonated can be considered an acid." Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acid In conclusion, I would say B.
