What are the arguments for and against evolution? @spectrum
From spectrum: "If evolution is correct, how did we evolve from asexuality to sexulity, a concious (no animals have one , its survival of the fitest), the ability to give charity (also uniqure among humans) ...etc etc etc and the list goes on ...I would appreciate it if you didn't try to pick a fight with me for the reason of just being irritating ink"
My answer: for evolution from asexuality to sexuality, an understanding of basic reproduction and the progression from single celled to multi-celled organisms is required. In short, we did in fact evolve from single-celled organisms, but this was a gradual progression. Sexual reproduction did not happen at the very beginning - natural selection determined that it was a fit trait for survival.
As for animal consciousness - my counter-argument is well summed up by the following link. http://science.howstuffworks.com/life/inside-the-mind/human-brain/animals-demonstrate-consciousness.htm
The ability to give charity http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altruism_in_animals Although you may disagree in the legitimacy of Wikipedia, I believe that the citations behind Wikipedia are more than necessary in this case.
Please, come up with explanations detailing your statements, or elaborate on why (if) you disagree with my following rebuttals.
