Where do dreams occur in cycle of sleep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is said that a person will start dreaming in sleep about an hour and a half to two hours into the sleep itself - the person must be in a deep sleep to begin dreaming. The person will most likely cease dreaming when they wake up - that is why you are often left with fragments of the end of your dream when you wake up.
