well i did 39^2+15^2 which equals 1746 then when i found the square root i got 41.785164

thats 39^2-15^2 which is 1521-225=1296 sr root of 1296 is 36 ans is 36

mathemagics is correct, remember in the formula...side C is the hypotenus (if i write it right:) ) ...and the other 2 sides A,B are the sides that form right angle
