As a high school student, can I earn college credit by taking exams at community college without taking classes there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It depends on the university you attend. You may want to check with the university you plan on attending.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well that to but most likely

So in order to score well on those exams, I just need textbooks and prep books to study, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. Are you referring to AP exams? Or joining a community college and auditing your class?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No. I want to earn college credit by taking Calculus 2 exam in community college without taking the class and by self-studying at home. Since it's equivalent to AP Calc BC. Next year, I want to do the same thing to earn as much college credits as possible. Any community college lets you do that, right?

If you don't take the class and audit, you don't earn any credit for university. You have to receive a grade in your class to earn credit. I'd suggest taking the class at the community college, and taking the AP Calculus BC exam if you don't want to take it in high school.
