Have you been taught about special triangles yet?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
The 45-45-90 and 30-60-90 triangles?
OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure.
You can split that triangle down in the middle. On the right side you have a triangle with 30 degrees. So the triangle on the right is a right triangle, specifically a 30-60-90 triangle. I've attached pictures that help you find the values.

so i just divide 65/2?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
but then again that is not accurate
OpenStudy (anonymous):
You know that the base of the triangle is 65m. So divide 65 by 2 and you get 32.5m. That's your base. Now find the other values using special triangles.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes, i did that and i didnt get an accurate answer

Pretend that the height of the tree is x. The base is \[xsqrt{3}\].
You know that \[xsqrt{3}\] = 32.5 Solve for x.
