cos x = sin x find all solutions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can look at the sin and cos graphs and see where they intersect each other. Then look at the x coordinate and there is the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont understand. i need a bunch of solutions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, the x coordinates, many of them when put into sin x = cos x, will match. gimme a sec.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im taking a timed test is there any way you can just pull the answers? id realllyyy appreciate it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you want degrees?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x is 45 and 225 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no lol i want the solutions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, if you divide sinx from both sides , you get cosx/sinx = 1 which equals tan x = 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and then, the only solutions for x would be 45 and 225 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but thats not in the answers :(
