Which one is a rule for the nth term of an arithmetic sequence with a8 = 56 and d = 5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well if the 8th term of the sequence is 56, and the difference between terms is 5: 5(8) = 40 What + 40 = 56? 26, or 5(8) + 26 = 56 So... 5n + 26 = an B.
