Thesis Statement help! I am writing a research paper using "Hamlet", "One Art", "Facing It", and "Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been?" I am focusing my thesis on how loss can affect someone's character. Any help or advice??

For "Hamlet" I am going to focus on Ophelia losing her father and how the confflic bettwen her brother and lover cause her to commit suicide. In "One Art" I was going to focus on how the writer is denial over the loss of her loved one as she compared it to losing trivial things such as keys and time. For "Facing It", I am sort of stuck on. For "Where are you going, where have you been? I am going to focus on Connie's loss of self esteem/innosence.
