We observe that the kite consists of 4 right triangles meaning, one angle of the triangle that we can see has to be 90 degrees. For angle 3, a triangle has a total of 180 degrees regardless of the distribution so if the top angle is 39, and we have 90: Angle 3= 180-(39+90) = 51 For angle 1, we can say that the triangle that it belongs to is just the "mirror" image of the triangle where angle 3 resides. So basically for this case the angle is also 39 degrees.
