In the beginning of the book Boxer is first introduced as “an enormous beast, nearly eighteen hands high, and as strong as any two ordinary horses put together ... he was not of first-rate intelligence, but he was universally respected for his steadiness of character and tremendous powers of work”. Boxer begins to show how committed he is after the rebellion, at that time he creates his work slogan “I will work harder”. His strength and power is shown at the battle of the cowshed when the narrator says this “the most terrifying spectacle of all was Boxer, rearing up on his hind legs and striking out with his great iron-shod hoofs like a stallion”. An example of how little intelligence he has is shown during the time where Snowball is banished from the farm. At that time boxer try’s to understand what is going on however all he can achieve in his thinking was “If Comrade Napoleon says it, it must be right,” These examples show what kind of a character boxer is because they are proof of his features, his actions combined with what he thinks is perfect evidence of what kind of a character he truly is. Boxer does not have any significant changes throughout the story. From the beginning of the story all the way to the end he still remains very committed and strong hearted. The most visible physical change Boxer had was the amount of power he once had in terms of his strength at the beginning of the story. This is greatly shown at the end of Boxer’s life when he was being sent to the glue factory during the time when he was being transported in the van. The amount his strength had lowered is revealed when the narrator says this “The time had been when a few kicks from Boxer's hoofs would have smashed the van to matchwood. But alas! his strength had left him”. The most visible psychological change was

You're going to want to add another paragraph in the beginning that introduces the whole premise of the book, not just the character of Boxer. Without that, anyone who hasn't read the book will have no idea what you're talking about.
