(4x - 3)(x + 8) use the foil method (First, Outside, inside, Last)
First ...(4x)(x) = 4x^2
Outside ..(4x)(8) = 32x
Inside ...(-3)(x) = -3x
Last...(-3)(8) = - 24

Now we have this...
4x^2 + 32x - 3x - 24 (combine like terms)
4x^2 + 29x - 24 <====answer
