OpenStudy (anonymous):

in task 1 letter c. the rate of change is the slope of the line. You can pick (0,0) as a start point and assuming the top most point in Y is 50 then you can choose (6,50) as your second point. use,\[m=\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm still confused, work it out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so we have two ordered pairs, (x,y) which we picked are (0,0) to start and then we picked the final end point (6,50).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which are \[y2=?,y1=?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

from the ordered pairs we picked. (0,0) and (6,50)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(x1,y1), (x2,y2)=(0,0),(6,50)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{50-0}{6-0}=\frac{50}{6}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or \[\frac{25}{3}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh alright. thank you.
