Find the inverse of the one-to-one function. f(x) = (x + 6)^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y=(x+6)^2\] switch \(x\) and \(y\) because that is what the inverse does, you get \[x=(y+6)^2\] solve for \(y\) in two steps get \[\sqrt[3]{x}=y+6\] so \[y=\sqrt[3]{x}-6\] is your inverse

oh thats what it meant!

thank you1
