Find the equation of the quadratic function with zeros 10 and 14 and a vertex at (12, -8) A. y = 2x2 + 48x + 280 B. y = -2x2 − 48x + 280 C. y = -2x2 + 48x − 280 D. y = 2x2 − 48x + 280

@evergirl help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@chemENGINEER can you help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Jithinkv can you help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First test to see which equations even satisfy the equation for y=0.... this will knock out a few right away..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@chemENGINEER I got C. can you check?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@richyw can you check if it right please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well once you know which 2 of those satisfy y=0, you need to make ure the vertex is right. C is not correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is D.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks man and I appreciate the help can you help with the next one? @chemENGINEER

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Possibly. Start a new question.
