149 cars are waiting to take a ferry across the channel. Each ferry can only hold 18 cars. How many trips will it take to get all the cars across?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just divide 149 by 18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer I got was 8. is this correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, I would round up to 19 though, because a ferry cannot hold a fraction of a car.

Ok thanks.
