OpenStudy (sirm3d):

my answer is 9. is this your answer too?

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it's A lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait..it's D sorry

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

can you give me the formula by chance?

OpenStudy (sirm3d):

oh yes, it's D. missed that one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The only thing that should happen is that she gets to pick 3 equal colors.

OpenStudy (sirm3d):

when you pick 12 beans, it is possible that all 8 red and all 4 green (or blue) beans. the 13th bean guarantees that each color is present.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I honestly don't have the formula. but since you have 8 red beans, then assume that you get all 8 and you have 4 of the blue and green ones. The safest way is to get 8 red beans and 4 of either the green or blue beans.. the 13th bean that you pick will surely be a different color.

thanks guys!!!
