No one is gonna sit here, go through a whole powerpoint, and do an entire crossword puzzle for you. Except me. For future reference it'll probably be better if you post specific questions. Which answers have you gotten on your own so far?

That picture is microscopic. I can't make out what your answers are, but I can at least tell which ones you are missing.

11 Across is "recessive." Most genetic disorders are recessive disorders. That means that both parents must give their child the recessive gene, in order for the child to have the disorder. That means that 24 Across is actually "two," not one. Cystic fibrosis is a recessive genetic disorder. 20 Across is "cloning." The clue was a bit misleading, because you don't always have to clone "a large number of organisms." It's possible to make just one clone. 25 Across is "aminocentesis." I think. Because this was nowhere in the powerpoint. But I researched it. 14 Down is "recombinant." Recombinant DNA is DNA that has been recombined. Does that make sense? To "recombine" DNA means to change it. 18 Down is "karyotype." That's a chart of all your chromosomes. 19 Down is "palindrone." That's the place where you see two parts of DNA that are backward, compared with one another. Here's an example: A A T T T T A A I had a LOT of trouble finding an answer for 21 Down, because I couldn't find it in the powerpoint. But I did come up with "gene code." It fits.

I had trouble with 22 across, someone told me it was "fraternal" can u explain to me why its that... Also number 16 across i dont get. Is 17 across identical? 9 down is gel electrophoresis right? 1 down is Pku? 4 down is restriction? 2 across is polygenic? 26 across is Klinefelter, i dont get why thoug i just randomly found it in the book can u make sure its right? 15 across is it pcr? 7 across is sex 6 down is down 12 down is three 2 down is also polygenic? -because 2 across is polygenic too

for the lab you should have h for each affected male (including 8 and 9). the reason for female not being affected (in this pedigree) is that they have two gene, one mutated but also one not mutated that is dominant. For being affected a woman must have both copies of the mutated gene;
