Trinity College currently has an enrollment of 13,300 students with a projected enrollment increase of 1000 students a year. Brown college now has 26,800 students with a projected enrollment decline of 500 students per year. Based on these projections, when will the colleges have the same enrollment?

Hello all.

So, here's how I tried setting up this problem; 13,300 + 1000x = 26,800 + 500x. Apparently, this is wrong. Any ideas as to where I went astray?

decline.... so it would be - 500x instead of + 500x

Oh...gahh...I'm so prone to stupid mistakes.
