To sign the laws and execute what congress has passed. to have diplomatic relations with foreign countries and settle disputes with those foreign countries. and be the commander in chief of the armed forces of the USA.
I believe that it is his duty to be the head of the military with in the usa and make him and us strong it is his decisions that shape what are armed forces do and why they do it
