Hmm so it looks like what the problem is showing issssss....
That the value 2x+4 is equal to the distance that they have labeled.
From -4 to positive 2. That's a distance of 6 right??

So we can write our equation as,
2x+4=6

And solve for x from there. And yes, as solar mentioned, it should be 1ish :)
