this is the figure. I learned that if a radius of a circle is perpendicular to a chord, then the radius bisects the chord. so, line segment DJ is equal to line segment JF. but I don't know about line segment EJ and line segment JM please help me!

Chords AB, CD, and EF are all perpendicular to radius OP. At most one of them may bisect radius OP, but certainly not all of them. So just becasue a chord is perpendicular to a radius, it does not necessarily bisect the radius.
