Can u please help me with the 1st one...i worked hard dis morrnin and still cant get it please help the answer is 25.73 m^2 but IDK how the teacher got that!

So, I would find the total area of the whole things (rectangle and the circle) and then subtract the are of the circle
So area of the whole thing is:
9*6=54
Now i need to subtract the circle
Area of circle is (pir^2) so pi(3^2)=28.27
Then putting it all together
54-28.27=25.73
