A company's profit function based on advertising dollars spent is P(x) = 200 + 27x - 0.3x^2, where x is the number of dollars spent on advertising and P(x) is the profit in dollars. Find the company's maximum possible profit...

In order to solve this problem, you need to find the maximum point. This is done by the formula X = (-B / 2A ) which is -27/2(-0.3) = X , now plug the X value back into equation and you will get the Y value. The X,Y cordinate you recieve will be your maximum point.

Awesome - thank you!

No Problem! , Make sure you remember how i did this and know that a Vertex can either be a maximum or a minimum point on a graph. ( put it in a graphing calculator and you'll see)
