find thee equation of the line that passes through the points (-3,7) and has a slope of -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

slope is -2 so your basic equation is... \[y = -2x + c\] since you know the x and y points... you can figure out the value of c through substitution... so you get \[7= -2(-3) +c\] so that should make life easy
