This problem just need to be broken into two steps first you need to find length BD using pythagorean theorem. (BC^2 + CD^2 = BD^2) Once you know that, you can then find AD know that the tan (60) = BD / AD If you have not covered tan of a number, there are a few other ways to solve that.

@Xetion I got 900 for the pythagorean theorem, but I don't know the measure of AD so how would I divide it when I do tan?

I got 2812.14506 @Xetion
