first you wanna set the number of bikes to x now he needs to get a weekly sallary of 500$ he starts with 300 dollars of sallry, and needs to use the bike sales then to make up for it so thats 300 + 15x

Well the paper says set it up using B for bike which is what i did i got the same thing as you i did it like this T=$300+$15b so the T stands for tony and the B for bikes so after i wrote it as an inequality like they ask and i got 500<300+15b and when i solved it i got b<40/3 because you can't dived 15 to 200 so i had to dived both by 5 and i got a fraction thats was 40/3

but! you can't sell 13.33333333333 bikes you can though sell 14 bikes so your answer is 14

so when you took 200/15 and got 13.3 all you did was round it and you got 14 bikes so my answer would be b<14

how are you rounding 13.3 to 14 if you don't have any number higher then 5

because if you sell 13 bikes you dont get more then 500 dollars but you cant sell 0.3 bikes you CAN though sell 14 bikes and the question also says the minimum amount of bikes sold to achieve 500 dollars i hope that helps
