What is the slope of a line parallel to the line with equation x – 2y = 11?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the slop would be the same as the one in this line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and if you turn this equation into y=mx+b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the slop would be 1/2 x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hope that helps :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

these are all my choices 4 -4 -1/4 -5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not sure but after transforming the equation with the y alone on one side, M would be 1/2 and therefor the slop of a parrllel line would be the same
