because its not suppose to be a fraction and decimals are fractions

The standard form of an equation is Ax + By = C (the capitol letters of this formula represent numbers) Let me tell you some rules about these equations in standard form... A B and C are integers (positive or negative whole numbers) No fractions and no decimals in standard form. Traditionally the Ax term is positive.
