12 feet of metal you need.

OpenStudy (joel_atkins):

That'll cost you $25.2

can u show me how you got that, im in gr 9 math ap. and my brain is dead right now -.- thankyou

OpenStudy (joel_atkins):

Well there are 12 inches in a foot, and 142 inches is 11.8 feet, but because you can only get the materials of increments of one foot (12 inches), you round your 11.8 up to 12. Then 12 feet, by the $2.10 for each foot, so 12 x 2.10 = 25.2

thankyou! :)
