what 2 numbers could be added to the group below to make the probability of randomly selecting either of those numbers 1/5? 8,2,0,7,9,1,8,7,4,5,4,6,3,4,5,8,3,2,0,?.

please help

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

there are 19 numbers there, so adding 2 numbers will bump up the total to 21

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

the problem is that no matter what numbers you add, you're going to be dividing by 21 and that won't reduce to 1/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so how do i get the answer

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

I'm not exactly sure you can get an answer as there has to be a typo

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

if there were 18 numbers, then it would work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks anyway
