If the line ax+y=c is perpendicular to the line x-by=d, then b=

OpenStudy (raden):

for line ax+y=c or y=-ax+c, gives the slope m=-a x-by=d or y = x/b - d/b, gives the slope m=1/b u know that 2 line was perpendicular when m1*m2 = -1 so, (-a)*(1/b) = -1 solve for b
